President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday 10/12/2019 said that his talks with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa took up means of promoting bilateral relations.
The two sides agreed on the importance of upgrading bilateral relations to the level of strategic cooperation in the political, economic, security and cultural fields, he added.
The two sides also agreed on setting a date for holding the joint committee meetings in the first quarter of next year, he pointed out.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said he listened to the vision of the South African president on the regional situation.
The two sides confirmed the importance of the continuation of coordinating efforts for enhancing security and stability in Africa and settling regional disputes.
The two sides also underlined the necessity of pushing up development efforts in Africa and promoting its infrastructure under the current Egyptian chairmanship of the African Union, added the president.
The two sides also highlighted the necessity of activating the principle of African Solutions to African Issues, added President Sisi.
