Egypt and Angola

Egypt and Angola

By: Egypt State Information Service

Relations between Egypt and Angola date back to the 1960s. They have been strengthened since the opening of the first regional office of the People’s Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA) in Cairo to support the liberation of the Angolan people against the Portuguese colonization in 1963, followed by the inauguration of the Angolan embassy in Cairo in 1976.  This book aims to highlight aspects of cooperation between Egypt and Angola relying on credible sources, and also to provide information about the Republic of Angola in various fields so as to enrich the knowledge of the Egyptian people and the Arab peoples of the friendly African country.
