In implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the Arab and African Youth Forum, held in Aswan, the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) has received a delegation of young African leaders who are currently taking part in the Nasser Fellowship for African Leadership organized by Egypt’s Ministry of Youth and Sports. In this context, Major General Abdel- Moneim El-Taras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, has stressed the importance of implementing the directives of President El-Sisi to boost the role of the African youth in assuming leadership and executive positions. Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization has hailed the visit of the young African leaders, saying that the AOI is ready to provide training for African students at the AOI’s different factories, particularly those who study engineering at the Egyptian universities.
This came in statements conveyed by General Tawheed Tawfik, assistant to the Chairman of the AOI, in his meeting with the 120 young African leaders. General Tawfik said that the AOI opens its doors for similar visits by African young executives in order to promote integration and joint cooperation and the exchange of expertise with brothers and sisters in Africa, within the framework of Egypt’s presidency of the African Union.
General Tawfik also stressed the importance of providing all forms of support and training to young African leaders, empowering them to assume leadership positions. He noted that Nasser Fellowship for African Leadership aims to prepare a new generation of leaders to meet Egypt’s vision towards realizing inter-African integration and unity.
In an open discussion with the 120 young leaders from Africa, General Tawheed Tawfik has indicated that the AOI places all its technological potentials and human resources under the disposal of brothers and sisters in Africa to realize partnership and cooperation with sisterly African nations.
After meeting with General Tawheed Tawfik, the young African leaders reviewed the AOI’s exhibition and voiced admiration for the different products, both civilian and military, made by the Arab Organization for Industrialization. They also heaped praise on the efforts made by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to realize cooperation and promote communication with the African nations and peoples.
