Prime Minister Youssef Chahed met at Dar Dhiafa Carthage with Algerian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ramtane Lamamra.
The meeting discussed ways to “strengthen the fraternal relations between the two countries,” said a statement from the Prime Ministry.
The Algerian Minister is attending the Arab Foreign Ministers Council meeting preparatory for the 30th Arab Summit held in Tunis.
Earlier Friday, Minister Lamamra was received by President Beji Caid Essebsi at Carthage Palace to whom he sent an oral message from Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
He also briefed him about the developments in Algeria and discussed ways to further develop bilateral relations in all areas.
