The South African Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula is set to meet with the Minister of Defence for Mozambique, Atanasio Salvador M’tumuke, in Pretoria.

Last month, South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa undertook a Working Visit to Maputo in the Republic of Mozambique.
He held bilateral talks with his counterpart President Filipe Nyusi where they discussed bilateral, regional and global issues of common interest.
“South Africa and Mozambique enjoy very good economic, political and cultural relations dating back to the days of the struggle against apartheid, said the South Africa’s Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO).
Mozambique is among the Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries that President Ramaphosa visited soon after he assumed Presidency in 2018, therefore this is a continuation of cordial high-level talks.
