South Sudanese official praises Egypt's role in disseminating moderation, confronting terrorism

Advisor to South Sudan President for Islamic affairs Jumaa Said has praised Egypt's efforts to spread moderation, confront terrorism and face the extremism of violence groups.

In statements to MENA on Sunday 20/1/2019 on the sidelines of his participation in the 29th session of the Higher Council for Islamic Affairs, the Sudanese official said Al Azhar works on disseminating moderation and coexistence among all peoples.

He also said the Ministry of Awqaf is exerting strenuous efforts to face extremism and violence, praising the training courses organized by the Ministry for imams and preachers to spread the upright teachings of Islam.
