Egypt and Tanzania

The relations between Egypt and Tanzania set the example for the strength of the evolution of Egypt’s relations with the African countries. The relations between Egypt and Tanzania have witnessed extensive consultations in the last few years, being based on the deep-rooted bonds between Egypt and Tanzania thanks to the friendship of the two historical leaders Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt and Julius Nyerere of Tanzania, and on the time-honored bonds linking Egyptian and Tanzanian peoples, let alone the importance of promoting joint cooperation between the two nations given that they are both of the Nile Basin region.
